The workshop is pretty much complete. 4 1/2 EAA 1000 workbenches. The smaller one we decorated as a family and sealed. Hope to have this for many years. Each table received 4 coats of polyurethane to make for a smooth surface
All the airlines were run with three air stations thoughout so I can have multiple pressures set without having to adjust
Looks like you are off to a great start! Enjoy the journey and have the time of your life. Building an RV10 is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done and I’m sure you will feel the same some day!

Mark. Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. Your build was amazing with really nice subtle changes (seatbelts, interior finish accents). Your exterior paint is a work of art. If you could go back…what would you do differently?

I wouldn’t bother with noise/insulation in the cabin – I’ve started removing it anytime I get access into a cavity. The firewall is another issue. I would also make sure the wiring in the plane had longer service loops behind the panel. I had some, but not enough to comfortably pull a device out of the panel and work on it in my lap. I would also make a larger cutout on the bottom cowl scoop to make it easier to get the cowl off (if you are going the 3 blade prop route). I would also explore options where the two EFIS screens are closer to each other. The one on the copilot side is just a little too far to use more than I do. Maps and charts are fine, but I’d use it more if it was closer.

Thanks. So many options and so many decisions, kinda overwhelming as I feeling like I’m sitting at the bottom of Mt Everst peering skyward getting ready to take the first step. I plan on priming and have read the ongoing battle. You used the self etching SEM correct? Did you like it?
