Time worked 3.5h
After 3.5 hours of riveting the vertical stab is done. It’s weird to have a completed airplane part that one day will be mounted on the tail of my plane. It was a straight forward process that required following the plans precisely to allow access to certain areas. In other words your couldn’t just rivet randomly otherwise you might get sealed out from an area that need access to buck the rivets. I must say that may hands are pretty beat up. Being a hand surgeon I should include my business card in each kit Van’s sells. I be’d in business for life! Anyway I am super happy with the results and look forward to finishing up the rudder over the next week.
